PROGRAM

Responsible connectivity

Meaningful connectivity, shaped by Indigenous decision-making - not connectivity imposed from outside.

Our connectivity program is governed by the communities themselves. Working alongside the Urihi Yanomami Association, participating villages define their own rules: the hours the network operates, the priorities it serves, and how it is used.
The network exists first for emergencies - coordinating medical evacuation and alerting authorities to illegal mining - and for education and cultural exchange. This is not connectivity imposed from outside; it is meaningful connectivity, shaped by Indigenous decision-making. Digital-literacy training is part of every deployment.
Community-set rules
Villages decide the network's operating hours, priorities and acceptable use.
Emergencies first
Medical evacuation and alerting authorities to illegal mining come before anything else.
Learning & culture
Education, cultural exchange, and digital-literacy training in every deployment.
