The largest Indigenous Land in Brazil, spanning the northern Amazon. After a severe health emergency, the priority is rebuilding essential infrastructure, water, energy, communication, under Yanomami leadership.
PEOPLES
Yanomami and Ye’kwana peoples, plus isolated groups. Polyculture forest gardens provide up to 75% of caloric intake, with women at the center of seed preservation.

Yanomami is an early-stage relationship, and we describe it exactly as that - no more. We only present a territory as a mandated partnership once a written agreement is signed with its Indigenous association.
Our one signed mandate is in Vale do Javari. It sets out the areas of support the association asked for, how priorities are decided and how funds are allocated, with the association in the lead.
