IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GUARDIANS · AMAZON

The forest already has guardians.

Right now, in Vale do Javari, we're backing the association's own plan - connectivity, seed houses and territorial monitoring. Add your name, or give, and stand with them.

100% of your donation funds the Indigenous-led mandate.

WHY THE AMAZON
Not the planet's lungs - its thermostat.
The Amazon is the planet's thermostat and water pump. It stores immense carbon, and parts of it are shifting from a carbon sink to a carbon source. Its flying rivers recycle the moisture that generates rainfall for South America's agriculture.
Scientists warn that by 2050, between 10 and 47 percent of the Amazon could cross a tipping point toward irreversible collapse. Protecting it is not about oxygen - it is about a stable global climate.

HOW THE WORK IS ANCHORED
One signed mandate. Two programs running under it.
Vale do Javari
THE SIGNED MANDATE
A partnership on the record - Vale do Javari
A written mandate agreed with the local Indigenous association defines what we support, how decisions are made and how funds are allocated - with the association in the lead. Other territories are early-stage relationships, and we present them as such.
Read the mandate →
Responsible connectivity
RESPONSIBLE CONNECTIVITY
A network for emergencies first
Medical evacuation and alerting authorities to illegal mining come first - then education and cultural exchange, on the hours and terms each village sets.
See the program →
Indigenous Storytelling Lab
INDIGENOUS STORYTELLING LAB
The satellite link is also a broadcast tower
Youth and women in the territories are trained and equipped to film, record and publish their own story over the same connection. Everything the lab makes stays public and stays theirs.
